Electronic Invoice 3.3, An Opportunity to Connect with your Clients

New versión of the mexican digital invoice raises challenges and opportunities

Electronic Invoice 3.3, An Opportunity to Connect with your Clients

Mexico is a leader in the implementation of electronic invoicing, with over 13 years of experience. Recently, an extension was approved for the forcible entry of version 3.3 of electronic invoicing that had a deadline of December 1, 2017.

Undoubtedly this new version will increase the dominion over the information of the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit SHCP and the Tax Administration Service SAT, to generate understandings based on the categorization of the multiple fields that are required for the generation of each invoice . Through the adoption of catalogs, the authority be granted a more thorough look at the activity of taxpayers and will be able to detect abnormal activity in order to commence pertinent investigations that lead to greater tax collection, we hope for the benefit of all Mexicans.

It is not an easy task, only the catalog of products or services has more than 50,000 keys to choose from; and in addition, 46 validation rules must be met.

Particularly, in the case of a creative digital marketing agency such as Mijo! Brands, all the services we offer ranging from brand appointment, logo design, advertising campaigns, social network management, creation of web pages and mobile applications, among others; they fit into two categories so we have the concept field to describe the service itself.

However, I personally believe that the new provisions will also give us an opportunity to have a closer relationship with our customers, because with provisions such as payment complement or the procedure for the cancellation of vouchers, a better relationship will be encouraged by having to maintain close contact, which could undoubtedly lead to new business and the generation of long-term relationships.

It is understandable that when we face a greater number of requirements by the authority, we will not receive the new measures willingly, but learning to see both sides in the balance is important to take advantage of the opportunities that each challenge entails. That is our attitude at Mijo! Brands.
